Product Description

The SnapShot (two-piece) barrel is the same high quality barrel you’ve come to expect from LAPCO. It is machined from solid 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum billet blanks.

Lapco gun-drills the billets and turns them between centers for perfect straightness and concentricity. The finished barrels are stiff arbor-honed to the best finish in the industry, guaranteed.

The tips joined with the backs are available in 12” and 14” lengths; the backs are available in .687”, .689”, and .693” diameters. More sizes will be coming as they receive your requests. With the SnapShot you can mix and match the tips and backs depending on the paintballs you use and your length preference.

Don’t be fooled by competitor’s kits. The joint between the halves of the two-piece barrel is the most critical part, because any misalignment can put a spin on the ball, or worse yet, cause ball breakage. The tight quality control and superior design on both halves of our barrel allows the pieces to be mixed and matched to create the combination you need when you play. The competitor’s tubing barrels just cannot compete with LAPCO quality barrels.

We have seen how they produce these barrels and it is amazing. These barrels start life as a solid billet rod of aluminum (not a piece of tubing, like 95% of the other barrels on the market). They are then gun drilled, meaning that they take a special piece of equipment and drill right down the center of the billet rod. This makes a perfectly round hole (which is impossible for a tubing barrel to duplicate). They are then hand honed to exacting specifications (the dimensions are constantly checked throughout the process); these barrels are a true labor of love. The results are a perfectly concentric (meaning that they have a common center) barrel with an incredible finish. So what does all this mean? It means that this is one of the most accurate barrels available, bar none. It means that if you break a ball it will shoot clean (due to the superior finish) within a few shots. It means that this is the barrel that I am shooting from now on (sorry Lapco, I will not be returning it any time soon. Further testing is necessary).
